I do understand that humans are violent...Priyanka,

I do understand that humans are violent and the reason is survival.. What I am trying to understand here is the abnormality in the human race. I'm not trying to question the process of evolution. All I'm doing is question the triviality of mean and rude behavior and how its taken for granted in this world. I love talking about such things too.. :)

And coming to pet abuse, I don't know what to say. Shame on people who take out their anger on animals. I knew it exists, but I don't want to mention it in my post, as it will spawn into a completely different topic.Jaiditya Namburihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15845228405783058590noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3447909540540384899.post-88139934531924336402012-05-26T12:11:29.964-07:002012-05-26T12:11:29.964-07:00And about how we are never mean to our pets, take ...And about how we are never mean to our pets, take a look at this pic. The lady loved her dogs- at least 12 of them- but would beat them up every morning. a friend got some of her dogs re-adopted.

https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10151192476735360&set=a.238768820359.295870.553175359&type=3&theater

I wouldn't say it always happens, but it only shows, it is still possible. We are an extremely violent species!Priyanka Tadipatrihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00772607741527267992noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3447909540540384899.post-33312731796194973012012-05-26T11:55:20.606-07:002012-05-26T11:55:20.606-07:00When you said evolution, I knew I wanted to commen...When you said evolution, I knew I wanted to comment.

I think we have all evolved this way to some benefit. Not necessarily be a benefit for us, but for the entire system.

If we're violent naturally (as you would agree, since it is such a common trait), it could mean that we need to be violent to avoid something more dangerous and something more instant. I can think of only one thing there- survival.

I am not saying, it is OK to be rude; only, if it is in our genes, it is for a reason. Also, I wouldn't treat anyone badly unless I get something really big out of the situation.

If someone chooses to be nice (against their genes) it must be because of the way they're brought up. It is probably what has hinted you to turn nice (not that you weren't) too.

I rest my case.Priyanka Tadipatrihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00772607741527267992noreply@blogger.com
